Since 1981, ProKids has stood up for Hamilton County’s foster children. By mobilizing the community to break the vicious cycle of child abuse and neglect, ProKids is a respected community leader which changes the arc of children’s lives and the future of Greater Cincinnati. The heart of this effort is the ProKids CASA volunteer – a Court Appointed Special Advocate. CASA volunteers speak directly for children who, through no fault of their own, have been taken from their homes and placed in foster care. CASA volunteers work with a ProKids team including CASA Managers and attorneys who advocate for every child’s right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and to thrive in a secure home. Thanks to community support, including the Thetas, ProKids is able to recruit, train and support CASA volunteers who then reach hundreds of children each year. Please visit for more information.

PKYP (ProKids Young Professionals) is a group of active individuals of all ages committed to the ProKids mission. PKYP directly impacts our children by organizing service projects such as an annual Back-To-School drive which provides school supplies to all the children ProKids serves, and participates in community service activities. PKYP also hosts special events – like quarterly Happy Hours - to grow membership and spread the word about ProKids. PKYP membership is free and customizable – members are as active as they choose to be. For more information, visit
